This is an entry role into landscaping maintenance and management of the surroundings on our sites. Candidates will have little or no experience in landscaping, or the necessary use of tools, machinery or tasks required. The role will have significant supervision and the candidate will receive tuition, training, and continual coaching. There would be considerable growth opportunities in learning and development in this role and allow candidates to progress into a Level two role in season. This role would support experienced Landscape Technicians.

ROLE SUMMARY:
Working from our New Minas headquarters, days start at 8AM. This is a senior, field‐lead role responsible for
driving the service vehicle, leading onsite and mentoring a junior technician.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead daily pool and hot tub service calls, including pool openings, closings, and general service
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues
• Communicate with customers and internal coordinators
• Maintain service standards, safety, and documentation
• Support training and development of junior crew members
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience in pool/spa service or transferable trade background
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driver abstract
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Professional customer communication

will only be filled if we find the right person. Position vision ranges from part time seasonal for someone who has
scheduling flexibility but doesn’t want fulltime hours, to a fulltime career salaried position. If you’ve been running your
own electrical business, and are ready for the support that comes from being part of Holland Home Leisure, a hybrid

What You’ll Be Doing

Project Leadership

• Run pool builds from layout to final clean-up
• Organize crew, materials, and equipment daily
• Keep projects moving even when the unexpected happens

Technical Installation

• Read and understand landscape & construction drawings
• Set grades and elevations accurately
• Oversee excavation and base prep
• Install in-ground pools (fiberglass and/or steel/vinyl liner)
• Plumbing: lines, skimmers, returns, drains, equipment pads
• Coordinate inspections and site readiness
• Work alongside hardscape crews to prepare surrounding poolscape

Crew Leadership

• Direct and mentor crew members
• Teach newer installers proper techniques
• Maintain site organization and workflow
• Keep morale high and standards higher

Requirements

• • Minimum 5 years pool installation experience
