Vision
To enhance sun safety for outdoor workers in Canadian workplaces by raising awareness about occupational sun exposure and supporting better sun safety policies and practices nationwide.
Purpose
Recognizing that sun exposure is a workplace hazard that can cause skin cancer, heat stress, and other serious health issues, the group aims to prevent these problems. By sharing knowledge, expertise, tools, and providing evidence, they strive to inspire stronger sun safety policies and practices in Canada, improving sun protection for outdoor workers.
