Here’s how it works:

  • Refer a trusted horticulture business to us.
  • Once they’re accepted, YOU get $50 credited to your account. Credit applied to the following year’s membership.
  • The NEW member also receives a one-time $50 discount on their first membership (only applies to new members, lapsed members not eligible).
  • Even if someone joins without a referral, they’ll still receive the $50 new-member discount.

You can refer up to 12 businesses each membership year — that’s up to $600 in credits!

Active

Fee: $584.41

HST: $87.66

Total: $672.07

Active members are companies, societies,
partnerships and sole proprietorships operating in
NS for at least ONE FULL YEAR deriving the majority of their income from horticulture services.

Eligible for full benefits, have the right to attend meetings, become a board member and vote.

Corporate Affiliate

Fee: $584.41

HST: $87.66

Total: $672.07

Trade Suppliers operating in NS are suppliers providing a product or service to the horticulture industry.

Eligible for full benefits, have the right to attend meetings, become a board member and vote.

Horticultural Affiliate

Fee: $99.11

HST: $14.86

Total: $113.97

Educational, Horticultural Society, Partners, Governmental, recent graduate open to individuals, societies.

Not eligible for member benefits or voting.

Out of Province

Fee: $166.11

HST: $24.92

Total: $191.03

Affiliate Membership except that their connection with NS is not sufficient to qualify for membership in other categories.

Not eligible for member benefits or voting.

Student/Volunteer

FREE

Not eligible for member benefits or voting.

LNS reserves the right to place the company in a membership category as defined in the By-Laws.

Payment

Our fiscal year is November 1 to October 31. Applications received between May 1 to October 31 will be
prorated. Full fees for the next fiscal year will also be applied, which includes a 2% increase.
Renewals invoices are sent out in October from [email protected].

Please submit
payment (cheque, VISA, MasterCard) to Landscape Nova Scotia

Once this form is accepted by Landscape Nova Scotia, an invoice will be sent via Quickbooks to the accounting email on page one. You will not be considered to be a renewed member until payment is accepted.
