Our last social of 2022 was Friday, November 4. We tried Axe Throwing at HaliMac in Halifax. What a time!
The round robin tournament got really competitive - down to James from Armdale Lawn Care and Matt from Nutri-Lawn. The winner was James - he got to hold the "big axe" and earned bragging rights. Well done James!

Members took a break on a beautiful Friday in August to visit some popular wineries and breweries in the Annapolis Valley. Our first stop was Church Brewing. After we stopped at Horton Ridge Malt House for samples and lunch. Then we visited Gaspereau Winery and finished off our day at Benjamin Bridge Winery.
A great time was had by all!
Special thanks to our sponsors, Nova Turf and Nutri Lawn!
The 2023 Brewery tour is scheduled for Friday, August 11! Be sure to keep an eye on your email for more details!
The first golf tournament in a long time took place in July at Aspotogan Ridge.
The winning team, earning bragging rights of the 9-hole tournament was Linney Landscaping.
Join us next year - our tournament will be bigger and better! July 14 and location TBD. (There will be more and better photos next year!)
As the landscape season comes to an end, LNS member companies took their staff to the Annapolis Valley for a local brewery tour on October 25. We visited Schoolhouse Brewery for lunch then visited Mercator Winery. After, we went to the new Sea Level Brewing location in Sheffield Mills and ended our day at Wayfarer's Ale Society. We made a quick pit stop before Wayfarer's to a local handmade treasure, The Faucet Fountain, in Port Williams. Each of the 113 faucets has their own story and they all work! Many hardscapers were on the tour and they definitely appreciated the detail and artistry.
Already planning our Winter Social, look for the invite in your inbox!
Special thanks to our sponsors, Nova Turf and Nutri Lawn
